+ What genre of music is this retreat for?

Our retreats are open to any and all genres of music. One of our core values is collaboration and some of the best collaborations in history share elements of many different genres. We love musical diversity!

+ Do I have to play an instrument or be able to sing?

You do not. Although these skills are a plus, your ability to write a song is not contingent upon your instrumental abilities. If you are primarily a top-liner, we’ll make sure you get paired with other writers with complementary skills.

+ What is the age requirement for this retreat?

The retreat brings together participants of many ages, and creates some wonderful connections and collaborations. All retreaters must be at least 16 to attend, and anyone under 18 must have a signed parental consent form and a guardian within driving distance of the retreat center.

If you’re interested in joining a retreat but are younger than 16, please contact us and we can discuss what opportunities may be a good fit for you.

+ What should I bring to the retreat?

Our retreats are designed to be all inclusive for your convenience. We suggest that you bring what you would normally bring on any hotel stay trip (ie. clothing, toiletries, etc.). If you have an instrument that you would like to use during your time with us we encourage you to bring that along.  Lastly, an open-mind and eager spirit is highly encouraged as well!

+ What is included in my attendance cost?

Everything except travel is included. Your cost of attendance covers your tuition, lodging, meals, morning yoga, special guest masterclasses, along with an experience that cannot be duplicated elsewhere.

+ How can I make the retreat more affordable?

There is no need to pay the full amount today. You can choose to pay in full, split it into 2 payments, or set up an interest-free payment plan directly on the checkout page. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!

+ Do I have to share a room with someone?

No.  Although we encourage shared rooms for the benefit of collaboration and community engagement, you may upgrade your package to include a private room if you wish.

+ What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans sometimes change due to unforeseen circumstances. While we do not offer refunds, your payment toward a retreat can be applied as a credit toward any future retreat or offering with Andrea:

90+ days before your retreat: We will honor 100% of your payment towards another offering with Andrea.
60-89 days: 75% of your payment towards another offering with Andrea.
30-59 days: 50% of your payment towards another offering with Andrea.
Less than 30 days: 25% of your payment towards another offering with Andrea.

Please let us know ASAP and we’ll be happy to help you use your credit toward another experience.

+ Do I keep the rights to my songs?

Yes, of course! You and your co-writers maintain 100% ownership of any songs you write at the retreat.
