2. What data we collect and why

Account and course delivery – name, email, password (contract)
Purchases and tax – billing address, Stripe/PayPal IDs (legal obligation)
Email updates and offers – email address, marketing preferences (consent; can withdraw any time)
Site analytics and fraud prevention – IP address, device ID, pages visited (legitimate interests)
Course-usage analytics – lesson views, quiz results, time-on-page (legitimate interests; cookies only after consent)
Advertising and retargeting – cookie IDs (consent in EU/UK; opt-out rights in some US states)
Support and mentorship – messages and call recordings (contract)

We never sell personal information for money. Limited identifiers are shared only as described below.

3. How long we keep information

We keep data only while needed to (a) provide services you request, (b) meet legal, accounting or tax rules, or (c) resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When those needs end we securely erase or irreversibly anonymise the data.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies to run, measure traffic and—if you allow—show tailored ads.

EU/UK visitors: analytics and advertising cookies load only after you opt in.
US visitors: opt out any time via “Cookie Preferences” or the “Do Not Sell or Share” link.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. A full cookie list and cookie lifetimes is available via the “Cookie Settings” link.

5. International transfers

We are US-based. When EU or UK personal data is transferred to the United States we rely on:

our certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU) or UK-US Data Bridge (UK), or
the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses plus encryption and access-control safeguards when certification is not available.

If these mechanisms are later ruled invalid we will adopt an alternative safeguard without delay.

6. Your rights

EU/UK residents: access, correct, erase, restrict, object, data portability, withdraw consent, human review of automated decisions, complain to a supervisory authority.
US residents (where state law applies): access, delete, correct, opt out of targeted advertising (“sharing”).
Email privacy@andreastolpe.com to exercise any right; we respond within 30 days (45 days where US state law allows).

7. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the following categories of service-providers, each under contract to process it on our instructions:

Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
Email and customer-relationship platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign)
Course-hosting providers (e.g., Kajabi)
Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar)
Advertising networks (e.g., Meta Ads, Google/YouTube Ads)
Cookie and privacy-management platform (e.g., Osano)
Cloud-hosting and IT-support partners

We may also disclose data to legal authorities when required and to a buyer if we sell or merge the business. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

8. Security

Data is protected with TLS in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication and role-based access. We review security at least annually and have an incident-response plan. If a breach poses a risk to you we will notify you and regulators within 72 hours.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes

For any material change we will email you or show an in-app notice before the change takes effect and update the “Last updated” date above.
