A writer with 20+ years of experience in the music industry, Andrea has written for such artists as Faith Hill, Julianne Hough, and Jimmy Wayne. She has turned her experience into award-winning online courses and live events as well as numerous articles, books and resources.

Following my methodology, I’ll challenge you to reconnect with your instincts to hone your craft and deepen your writing in a supportive environment.
Participate in specialist workshops, in-depth critique sessions, collaborative writing sessions, a guest seminar with a multi-platinum writer, morning yoga, and evening performances.
In your writing sessions, you will be partnered with other writers, artists, and producers specifically chosen for you based on your musical tastes and unique talents. All designed to balance your skills in a complimentary way.

There are a limited number of spots available for each retreat in order to make sure that your experience is intimate and supportive. It’s important that songwriters are at a stage in their journey where they are ready to implement the methodology that Andrea teaches. We intentionally select writers based on style and experience to make sure that each group contains a range of songwriters with complementary skillsets.

Our retreats are open to any and all genres of music. One of our core values is collaboration and some of the best collaborations in history share elements of many different genres. We love musical diversity!

You do not. Although these skills are a plus, your ability to write a song is not contingent upon your instrumental abilities. If you are primarily a top-liner, we’ll make sure you get paired with other writers with complementary skills.

The retreat brings together participants of many ages, and creates some wonderful connections and collaborations. All retreaters must be at least 16 to attend, and anyone under 18 must have a signed parental consent form and a guardian within driving distance of the retreat center.

We want to get back to everyone as soon as possible so that you can best prepare for your trip. We aim to respond within one week of your application submission.

Our retreats are designed to be all inclusive for your convenience. We suggest that you bring what you would normally bring on any hotel stay trip (ie. clothing, toiletries, etc.). If you have an instrument that you would like to use during your time with us we encourage you to bring that along. Lastly, an open-mind and eager spirit is highly encouraged as well!

Standard pricing for the retreat is priced at $2,495. Your ticket includes your tuition, lodging, meals, morning yoga, special guest masterclasses, along with an experience that cannot be duplicated elsewhere. Limited early-bird tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.

There is no need to front the whole cost during the application process. Once you’re accepted, you can pay a deposit to secure your spot. We have an interest-free payment plan available if you’d like to spread the cost further.

No. Although we encourage shared rooms for the benefit of collaboration and community engagement, you may upgrade your package to include a private room if you wish.

We understand that plans sometimes change due to unforeseen circumstances. If you need to change your retreat dates, please let us know ASAP and we’ll do our best to accommodate you:
90+ days before your retreat: We will honor 100% of your payment towards another retreat with Andrea.
60-89 days: 75% of your payment towards another retreat with Andrea.
30-59 days: 50% of your payment towards another retreat with Andrea.
Less than 30 days: 25% of your payment towards another retreat with Andrea.

Yes, of course! You and your co-writers maintain 100% ownership of any songs you write at the retreat.
