WHAT THIS IS
A steady rhythm for your writing, and a clear path to finished songs.
I know how hard it feels to keep your writing moving. Songs get stuck because life is full, and momentum is hard to hold onto. I built Write, Record, Release so you actually do the work, in a way that is realistic and manageable for your life.
Over 24 weeks, you’ll build a lasting writing habit, finish 8 full songs, share them with a supportive community, and dive into production and release resources if you'd like to take them further.
You do the work, in manageable steps. Come out confident, knowing you did it your way and knowing exactly what's been done.

LIVE WORKSHOPS
YOUR 24 WEEKS
8 Writing Sprints & Small-Group Feedback Sessions
Choose 8 sprints from a library of 10 Song Paths that appeal to you across the program. Each Path runs on a sustainable 3-week rhythm: 10 days of prompts over two weeks (taking no longer than a cup of coffee), followed by 1 week to meet with your listening group for constructive peer feedback, rewrite, or simply rest.
8 Live Workshops with Me
A week into every path, we gather in the room at the same time. Bring the song you're working on, and we'll untangle creative blocks, and work through what you're seeing and feeling together. These cohort weeks set your foundation, build your habit, and help you to complete your songs.
4 Live Production Workshops & Release Resources
The second half of our program expands your toolkit while you continue writing your next four songs. Join four live production workshops with me and a working producer/engineer for technical advice and track breakdowns. You'll also unlock self-paced Release Resources with advice to help you build a launch strategy if that’s where you want your music to go next.

When you know which profile you lean towards, you can choose Paths that tend to strengthen the outcomes for your kind of writer. We complete our first Path, A Homecoming, all together, after which all 9 additional Paths open.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Is this the right program for you?
WHO THIS IS FOR
Writers just short of the finish line.
♪ You have an EP or an album you keep meaning to make, or songs you haven't finished, and you're tired of the endless unfinished cycle.
♪ You have a job, a family, life commitments, and you need a pace that survives a normal week rather than one that assumes you have ultimate flexibility.
♪ You'd rather finish eight imperfect songs and move the dial forward than one perfect one standing still.
WHO THIS ISN’T FOR
Two exceptions.
♪ You want one-to-one attention on your songs. That's mentorship, and it's a different program.

♪ You want an in-person experience where you can step away from daily distractions and dive deep into your craft. You’ll find this in our 5-day songwriting retreats, which bring together an intimate community of like-minded writers in inspiring surroundings.
Andrea Stolpe has spent more than twenty years writing songs and helping other people write theirs. She arrived in Nashville as a staff writer in 1998 with a classical piano background and a degree from Berklee, and spent the decade that followed in writing rooms learning to collaborate, singing demos, and, ten years in, making a record of her own.
She has written for artists including Faith Hill, Julianne Hough and Jimmy Wayne, and held publishing deals with EMI, Almo-Irving, and Universal Music Publishing. Her book, Popular Lyric Writing: 10 Steps to Effective Storytelling, is a standard text at Belmont, Berklee and the USC Thornton School of Music, where she helped build the songwriting courses within the Popular Music Program. Her online courses have earned Grammy nominations in music education and a Gold Telly Award. She teaches now the way she learned, in small rooms, alongside other writers, through her in-person retreats, online programs, and in the studio at home and abroad. She is still, first, a songwriter.
